Persian (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
Zoey is a 3-yr-old Golden Persian who will soon be the love of your life. She came to us after she was taken to an East TN shelter to be put to sleep, presumably because they were tired of dealing with the consequences of having cut off all her toes (yes, she is a four paw declaw) and gotten a puppy who likely tormented her relentlessly. They, instead, contacted us and we were thrilled that one of our fosters in the area was willing and able to help. She has worked diligently restoring her health and faith in humanity and we couldn't be happier for Zoey and grateful to her foster mom!
She is sweet, loving and playful, but still can be a little shy. She does have a few specific but important requirements. Because of her turbulent past which resulted in some now resolved stress-related health issues, she must have a calm, quiet home where she is the one and only (no little humans or other pets), soft litter (because her toes were cut off) and she does require a special diet. However, we don't think these small requests are much to ask in return for THIS kind of fabulousness! Like most cats, she may not love to be held, but she does love to be with you and boy she is a good kisser! She is being fostered in the Knoxville, TN area. If you are interested in showing this precious girl what real love looks like, please complete our application at www.FLUFFNashville.org.*
*Helpful Hint: you are welcome to submit inquiries first, however, if you are really interested, we strongly recommend that you go ahead and submit an application because others are and this kitty may be gone by the time we get your inquiries answered.

Update 1: They are both doing very well and are still so loving to each other. Update 2: We would love to foster but are afraid The Bolshevik Bengal and the Revolutionary Ragdoll would not tolerate them. The only time they get angry is if they see one of the local cats outside. (Are you sure they are Tudors? They do have a certain Russianness to them and are not afraid to take hostages!) They are delightfully gentle and kind with each other and us, just have zero tolerance for the neighbor cat. |
