Some people may look at this kitty and see a black short haired cat, and they wouldn’t be completely wrong. However, what they would be missing is that Poe is actually a very rare melanistic purebred Savannah and he is spectacular! He gets along with kitty friendly dogs (when introduced properly) but he does prefer to be the only Felis Catus in your life. Don’t worry he is all the cat you’ll need!

Which brings us to our next topic. Savannah’s much like Bengals are extraordinarily intelligent and athletic. This combination is fabulous but it does mean that you will need to make sure that you have the time to interact and play with him constructively, ‘cause trust us, he’s gonna be playin’ either way and you might not like his choices. ;-)
