Persian (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
This tiny sweet 5-6 yr old Persian with stunning pale blue eyes, has had a rough go of it so far. She is a special needs girl who doesn't need too much more than a loving family. She just walks a little funny and doesn't jump up much (you won't have to worry about her on your counters!). She gets around just fine and utilizes all facilities without error. We don't know exactly what happened to cause this, but it seems like it has been this way for a while because she has so successfully accommodated it. She came to us from Memphis AC by way of a sister rescue. To add insult to injury, she is four paw declawed.
She has wonderfully discerning taste! She took a few days to decide that I wasn't going to make soup out of her and ever since she has been wonderfully sweet. She purrs like crazy and she LOVES to watch Cat TV! We would ideally find an adopter who is willing to give her acupuncture (we have resources in the Nashville area, but they are easy to find all around these days). She does benefit from a once monthly injection of Solensia, so please make sure any budget allows for that. She is very funny and cuddly once she's comfortable. We aren't sure how happy she would be with other pets. She was originally surrendered with another kitty (who was adopted separately from the shelter) which might suggest she would do okay, but it's always hard to say. We want to find Lana the perfect forever home. She has bounced around way too much already. Please complete and submit our application at www.FLUFFNashville.org to let us know you are interested.* *Helpful Hint: you are welcome to submit inquiries first, however, if you are really interested, we strongly recommend that you go ahead and submit an application because others are, and this kitty may be gone by the time we get your inquiries answered. Update 1: They are both doing very well and are still so loving to each other. Update 2: We would love to foster but are afraid The Bolshevik Bengal and the Revolutionary Ragdoll would not tolerate them. The only time they get angry is if they see one of the local cats outside. (Are you sure they are Tudors? They do have a certain Russianness to them and are not afraid to take hostages!) They are delightfully gentle and kind with each other and us, just have zero tolerance for the neighbor cat. |
