Meet Catherine, a calico kitten of extraordinary beauty and equally extraordinary feelings about strangers. Like her literary namesake, she is passionate, gorgeous, and will take a little time to decide if you're worthy of her affections. Unlike her literary namesake, she has never once caused anyone to haunt a moor.

Catherine came into this world with painterly calico markings that look like an artist's muse and the disposition of someone who has read Wuthering Heights and found it relatable. She is sweet to the core — but she'll warm up on her own terms, thank you very much.

What Catherine is looking for in a home: patience, cozy window perches, and a person who understands that "a little shy at first" simply means she's discerning. What Catherine is not looking for: loud parties, dogs named Heathcliff, and anyone who didn't cry at the ending.
