Meet Madeline — not the little girl with the red hat from the Parisian boarding school, but arguably just as charming, significantly fluffier, and far less likely to get into mischief with a tiger. This 5.5-month-old brown tabby Maine Coon mix has the regal bearing of a French literary heroine and absolutely knows it.

Don't let her dainty little frame fool you — Madeline carries herself with the quiet confidence of someone who has already decided she runs the place, she's just being polite about it. Her purr is the kind of deep, rolling rumble that sounds like a tiny luxury sports car idling, and she deploys it strategically to make sure you never quite manage to get off the couch.

Socially, Madeline is delightfully well-rounded. She adores other cats and with the proper introductions, will happily cozy up to a feline roommate, but she's also perfectly content holding down the fort solo as long as her humans show up eventually — preferably with a feather wand. Seriously, if you own a bird toy and a free hand, you have basically unlocked her entire love language. She will play until one of you taps out, and it won't be her.
