Maine Coon (long coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Medium Interested in adopting?
Print an adoption flyer for Joe!
Joe is a four-year-old, purebred Red Tabby Maine Coon, and he is a lot of man. We're talking a big, gloriously fluffy, orange freight train of a cat who will absolutely wreck you at 11pm by sprinting figure-eights around your living room and then collapse on your chest purring like a diesel engine until you can't breathe or move and you don't even care.
Joe got his name the honest way. He earned it. He's the guy who shows up to the job site early, works hard, plays hard, and when the day is done he wants a cold one and some quality time with his person. He is genuinely, deeply sweet the kind of sweet that catches you off guard coming from someone his size. He'll headbutt you with the force of a minor construction incident and then look at you like you're the best thing that ever happened to him. Here's the thing about Joe though: he needs the right person. Not a beginner. Not someone who wants a lap ornament. Joe needs someone who speaks fluent cat, who understands that big personalities require thoughtful handling, and who has the time and energy to actually engage with him wand toys, puzzle feeders, interactive play, the whole union contract. He will give you everything he has, and he needs someone who shows up the same way. Joe also needs to be an only pet. He did not submit a request for roommates and he will not be entertaining applications. His person's attention is his, and honestly, he deserves to have it. A screened porch would make Joe the happiest man alive. Fresh air, something to supervise, birds to critique this is the retirement package he's been working toward. If you're a seasoned cat person with time on your hands, room in your heart, and maybe a screened porch, Joe would like to have a word with you. He's ready to clock out from rescue life and go home. Don't make him wait too long a guy like Joe shouldn't have to. Please complete and submit our application at www.FLUFFNashville.org to let us know you are interested.* *Helpful Hint: you are welcome to submit inquiries first, however, if you are really interested, we strongly recommend that you go ahead and submit an application because others are, and this kitty may be gone by the time we get your inquiries answered. |
